I’d much prefer the spelling adaline over adeline, i hate the nicknames adele, della, addie but love ada (rhymes with ava), but would adaline be too problematic? I love the name [name_f]ada [/name_f], so it’s option as a nn for [name_f]adaline [/name_f] nudges me that way.

Adeline should always be pronounced as “line” unless you’re french and then it’s “leen”.
