Is the stingray more d type and the sterling more c type? I recently bought a used stingray from reverb and didn't realize at some point someone swapped the original bridge. Hi, i bet this has been asked many many times, but couldn't find a topic regarding stingray special.

Definitely go for the stingray, you can cover all your ground owning both basses. I did an extensive search for this and didn't really find an answer or thread that had this listed. The pickup is the most powerful i've ever encountered and it's not a 'normal' pickup. Hi, i've got a 4 string stingray classic that is a great bass. The ray sounds great, punchy and cuts through anything, and it's very esay to play. I have this beautiful 2020 stingray special bass which i love.
