[name_m]hi[/name_m], i [name_m]just[/name_m] found out i am having a boy! I feel like i have looked at every name on the planet and i’m driving my husband insane. Adeline should always be pronounced as “line” unless you’re french and then it’s “leen”.

With my first, we chose her name and that was it, i never had the urge to. (i was expecting another girl) and now i need to think of a name for this little guy!! I’d much prefer the spelling adaline over adeline, i hate the nicknames adele, della, addie but love ada (rhymes with ava), but would adaline be too problematic?
I much prefer [name_f]isabel [/name_f] to [name_f]annabel [/name_f].
I love your daughter’s name [name]maren [/name] [name]elizabeth [/name]. I love the namesakes that [name_f]ada [/name_f] bring in. I love the name [name_f]ada [/name_f], so it’s option as a nn for [name_f]adaline [/name_f] nudges me that way. I don’t know anyone who pronounces it with a “lyn” ending.
